It’s like being stranded in the middle of nowhere, now I dont even feel like going back.
i was looking forward to the next semester, but not anymore i think. nothing’s going to be in comfort zone anymore, nothing’s going to be the same. The familar faces share stories I can perhaps never relate to anymore, i can smile but it’s just, not the same.

if i could turn back time, would I do the same?

you guys have absolutely no right to talk about any one of us or even our relationship when you know nothing about us. if you have any bloody comments or sth you like to snigger, i rather you ask it in my face

right now, im just feeling highly emotionally unstable thinking about exchange application.
it bothers me so much that no matter how well i do here at business, it’s never gonna make up for the lousy law mods they had to take into account for my overall cap! WHYYYYY. this is not gonna get me to the school i wanna go to:((((
and i desperately need to s/u my management science! yes i know the world is never fair, but just let me whine for now roar.
i keep telling myself to be contented, but its easier said than done. each day, i just get more discontented. SIGHHHHHHH

at least tmr’s christmas eve and its plenty of happy turkeys and hams waiting for me to devour. But before that, i will need to survive the horrid crowd i foresee in town tomorrow! hopefully, everyone’s so well-prepared for christmas this year they dont have to do any last minute shopping. right.

morton’s bar was reaaally goooood. chef must have felt extremely generous today, because we had a total of 8 rounds of steak sandwiches, even 30 mins past happy hour! and the happiest? crystal goh. each time she took a bite, you could literally see the glow in her face, no kidding.

random thoughts right off my head.
on a side note, i’m also feeling pretty disappointed. you know how i always believe in being generous to friends and family? so ngiao people friends really bother me like crazy, because well i think, it really reflects how much the friendship means to you. and its pretty much a reciprocity thing, if i’m giving this much to us, its only fair that you do the same, right? all of a sudden, i think they’re right that a party could either make or break a friendship. a thought just flashed past my mind, maybe i shld just cancel the party and save the trouble. right.

so this year has been an especially eventful one for me. I managed to step out of my comfort zone and embrace everything new. It hasn’t and isn’t going to be easy in the years to come, but whatever it is, I’m only gonna walk away stronger.

it wasn’t easy leaving law school. In particular, the really awesome jiemeis i’ve grown so close to and love so much. you know you always hear people saying it’s difficult to find true friends in uni? I think its pure rubbish, because I did:)

and who can forget the 20-minutes-before-boarding-still-eating-roast-pigeon moment? thinking back about that never fails to make me chuckle silently to myself:)

and then our numerous clubbing outings! (that still hasn’t made me a better drinker!)

so on to business school, the very first (and possibly crazy) step – orientation camp? i know many of my friends thought i was mad to sign up for the camp but I had fun and did meet wonderful people. And i think that’s all that matters. besides, i still do feel and LOOK nineteen! HAHA.

and of course, dear rag:) some screw in my brain probably went a little loose when i decided to join rag for the second time. but definitely a decision im extremely glad to have made. Otherwise, I would never have met this incredible bunch of people. im positively sure that without them, school for me would be alot more miserable and lonely! I HEART EACH AND EVERYONE OF YOU <3

and of course, 2010 also spells a year the 89 babies turn 21. which really just translates into a very poor me, because the average spending on a birthday present just about doubles, or triples, or maybe even quadruples. but nevertheless, i think i enjoyed myself at every one of these parties (though i suspect alcohol played a major factor). still, these parties’ve been really great opportunities to catch up with long-time-no-sees. If only we didn’t need such excuses to meet up more often.

1) Rag

Yes, this this time i really went crazy. for those who don’t already know, I’m heading this/next year’s rag, just thinking of it sends shivers down my spine sometimes, honestly. it’s really such a gigantic project and possibly really man-ly, sometimes i cant help but wonder whether I’m really up to it? but whatever it is, i’m just gonna have to give it my best shot! and i’m sure we’ll be able to pull through eventually, esp with the help of my absolutely wonderful raggers:) WE CAN DO IT GUYS!:D

2) Bangkok

I’m off to bangkok this weekend till tuesday and as much as I know kwek hates to hear this, I am getting a little worried myself. I just watched the news today that the thai government just made some decision which could really upset the reds, which pretty much means i’m screwed if they start protesting on the streets this weekend:( hopefully, they’ll need some time to plan their riots and come out only 2 weeks later?
i want my chatuchak and pad thai!!!

3) Taiwan!:)

kwek’s birthday present to me:) and im really looking forward to it, not only because of the fantastic street-food and weather, but also because kwek and I can finally spend some quality time doing couply stuff. The past few months have just been studying studying and more studying. i cant even recall the last time we went out on a proper date, without having to rush back home to study:(

4) my own party?

it’s quite a mind-numbing number on my guest list, i’m just hoping things wouldn’t turn up too chaotic, and most importantly that everyone’ll have fun! the last thing i want is for my guests to feel bored or crammed or uncomfortable.
and do me a favour by really dressing up creatively? I actually wanted to have a more costume-y and crazy party but I had to take into account people who might possibly get turned off at the idea of coming in characters. OH WELLS. so come looking crazy PLEASE. and you’ll make me a very very happy girl haha!

okay fine, the smiley faces are a little exaggerated cos i dont think i feel THAT happy. i feel strangely normal, maybe its because I kinda screwed up real bad this time (though i can imagine noone’s gonna believe me) OH WELLS.

what really made my day today was my uggs parcel which arrived at my doorstep today woohooo!:DDD ive been thinking about these for the past few months and i finally caved in when there was some free shipping promotion. YAYY:D sooooo happy! and i dont care if many think it’s horribly ugly, I LOVE IT.

well, so every december i do sth drastic to my hair. i permed it last dec and got sam laughing at me for a whole one month (or maybe more). this time i FINALLY decided to get it coloured and unsurprisingly, i’m crazily hating it. every time i look into the mirror, i can’t help but cringe. shall go back to the salon tmr and fix it! MUST NOT LOOK LIKE AN AH LIAN.
